An independent investment advisory firm established in 2021 and headquartered in London, United Kingdom. We provide insights, guidance, and services to our corporate and private clients to achieve their financial and investing goals in emerging markets. 
Our business strategy is fundamentally driven by the outcome of extensive discussions with prospective clients prior to establishing the firm. Clients domiciled in emerging markets are primarily concerned about preserving net-worth in an environment of rising in-country inflation rates while our international clients are seeking to increase their asset portfolio allocation in new emerging sectors such as renewable energy and technology. 
We have as a result crafted a clear and effective business model focused on – Fixed Income, Alternative Investments and Advisory. Our investment process is simple and transparent.

Kolade Finapri Ogunsulire


Kola’s over 25-Year working career, spans engineering, chartered accounting and investment banking on three continents. After a three-year career In the steel industry (UK and Nigeria), Kola spent 6 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in New York (United States) where he rose to become the Lead Manager on AIG And IBM Credit Company. Kola then proceeded to have a 17-year investment banking career (United States And Nigeria) working for leading firms such as Dresdner Bank and AIG Asset Management (where he rose To Director Position) and Zenith Bank (where he rose to head the investment banking subsidiary – Zenith Capital). 

Prior to co-founding Aksum Capital In 2021, he was the Managing Director of Family Homes Funds Limited, a government agency established by The Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority And Ministry Of Finance Incorporated to support the growth and development of affordable housing in the country.

Kola holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Production and Systems Engineering from the University Of Technology, Loughborough, UK, an MBA from the Stern School Of Business, New York University, USA and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Professor Charles George Inyangete


Charles is serial innovator and a seasoned financial services practitioner with over 25 years proven international expertise and experience in banking & finance, capital markets development, financial & economic reforms and housing market & policy. He was instrumental in the establishment of Tanzania’s first and only stock exchange, and developed the first market index for the Dar Es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE).

Prior to co-founding Aksum Capital, Charles was the pioneer managing director and chief executive officer of the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company Plc (NMRC). Under his leadership the NMRC executed the first mortgage-backed bond issue in 2015 as part of a N440bn (USD 1.45bn) programme. He has served on the boards of banks and international organizations such as the African Union for Housing Finance (AUHF) and as an adviser on financial market reforms to African countries including Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Charles holds a PhD in finance for the study of investment strategies, risks, returns, market-making and the structure of the UK securities market post ‘big bang” from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom. He lectured at universities on three continents and went on to lead a major institutional collaboration for the University of Strathclyde
